The FP-LR 32 guide plate runs accurately on the perforated LR 32 guide rail, while its spring-loaded positioning rocker indexes positively from one 32 mm position to the next. A centring mandrel ensures that the router is positioned accurately on the guide plate, and fine adjustment allows guide play to be set for smooth, precise movement. The set also includes the essential carbide-tipped cutters for common cabinetry work, parallel side fences for accurately positioning the guide rail from the workpiece edge, longitudinal stops for repeatable positioning and fastening clamps for securing the guide rail. The LR 32 system is based on a standard 32 mm pitch between consecutive holes. Instead of measuring and marking every drilling position individually, the router is mounted to the FP-LR 32 guide plate and guided along the regularly perforated LR 32 guide rail. The spring-loaded positioning mechanism indexes the router precisely from one hole position to the next, helping produce straight, evenly spaced and repeatable hole rows quickly. The same system can also be positioned accurately from the front, rear and side edges of cabinet panels, making it exceptionally useful when manufacturing matching cabinet components.
