Professional 8mm short-series slot end mill manufactured from HSS-Co8 and
coated with ALUNIT®, featuring a 4mm radius, two flutes, centre-cutting
geometry and a 30° Type N normal helix for accurate contouring, profiling,

The Maykestag Series 1057 is a precision HSS-Co8 slot end mill with a radiused
cutting end, designed for machining curved profiles, rounded transitions,
slots and contoured surfaces. Its centre-cutting geometry allows the cutting
edges to work across the centre of the tool, making it suitable for
applications where the cutter needs to enter the workpiece as well as cut
laterally. The short-series construction provides increased rigidity and helps
reduce tool deflection, supporting accurate machining and a consistent finish.
The ALUNIT® coating provides a hard, wear-resistant cutting surface
