Maykestag solid carbide drill DIN 338 N ALUNIT® 1.00mm
High-performance 1.00mm solid carbide drill with ALUNIT® coating,
manufactured to DIN 338 Type N with a 118° point angle and 5×D
drilling depth for precision drilling in demanding materials.
The Maykestag Code 6157 is a precision solid carbide drill with
ALUNIT® coating, designed for professional drilling applications.
Manufactured to DIN 338 Type N, the drill features a 118° point
angle, two cutting edges and a drilling depth capability of up to
5×D. The 1.00mm drill diameter is matched by a 1.00mm h6 shank,
providing a compact configuration for precision toolholding.
The ALUNIT® coated design is intended to provide increased tool
performance and durability compared with the corresponding bright
solid carbide version. The drill is particularly suited to demanding
machining applications where accurate hole production and reliable
tool life are important.
manufactured entirely from carbide rather than having a carbide tip
brazed onto a steel body. The high rigidity and wear resistance of
solid carbide make these drills particularly suitable for precision
machining and higher-performance drilling applications.
